Asfour Crystal company was founded in 1961,since

then it has became one of the largest international

companies in the production of the finest crystal

and its applications. Asfour crystal is also a pioneer

in the production of various models of chandeliers

with special specifications in hotels, palaces,

houses of worship.

Asfour Crystal Company always strives to be the

pride of the Egyptian industry and a key supporter

of pushing the development wheel in Egypt for

more than 50 years through the presence of its

products in more than 70 countries around the

world.

Land area is 88,800 m2.

Building area (6,400 m2 for Ground floor) and (38,400 m2 for repetitive floors).

Steel structure buildings of 46,500 m2.

Contractual Electrical Power of 15 MVA.

The factory is equipped with full infrastructure (a complete industrial environment *)

The average price of an existing land is 3,700 EGP/ m2.

* A complete industrial network environment = natural gas, compressed air, drinking water networks, industrial and drainage, fire

extinguishing systems and there are 6 gated entrances in the plant with monitoring cameras surrounding the walls of the factory.

There are structural regulations of the plants in this area as follows:-

Adherence to the territorial regulations of the streets, the rest of the land is full ratio in accordance with the

license where the height is set according to the width of the street

New cities can be from 40% to 60%, permitted specific heights from 12 to 15 meters. (This applies to the

factory at Menia province).

For the possibility of changing the industrial activity it has to be changed through the city council, stamped

through the mayor, and the administrative authority. A study should be prepared highlighting the reason

behind the change of activity, where certain fees are applied in accordance to the situation:

From residential to education (community benefit) it will be low fees.

From education to Residential (profit for the owner) will be higher fees or take a share of the land (about 10%) to do a service project for the

region, such as extinguishing points or department or police ....... etc.

• The advantages of the free zone: According to the Customs Tariff (Free Zone),

the operating plants can be exempted from

customs duties ranging from 2% to 40%,

depending on the type of item imported and

also exempted from sales tax which is 10%

under export condition.

Asfour works 80% export : 20% local

(practicing law can be adjusted up to 50%

export 50% Local maximum). As well as

other advantage: is imported goods is cleared

from the port quickly and Less transit time

from the normal.
