E-Safety Day

Paul Hay of PCLS Training led an E-Safety

day for the whole school on Thursday 7th De-

cember. Every child had the opportunity to see

the importance of staying safe on-line and how

vulnerable they could be if they are not careful.

We constantly discuss e-safety in school and

what children have to do in order to stay safe.

It is sometimes powerful to have somebody

different give the same message!

Not many parents attended the session in the

afternoon, but those that did reported that it

was extremely useful.

We have received a letter from Hampshire

Constabulary today informing us of

inappropriate material being available through

social media platforms—Snapchat, Whatsapp,

Instagram and other channels. Please

encourage your child to talk to you or

another trusted adult if they have any

concerns.

Pyramid Carol Concert

On Wednesday, 40 members of the

School Choir walked to The

Arnewood School for the annual car-

ol concert. Six local schools per-

formed two Christmas songs each

and combined in a rendition of

‘Jingle Bells’ as the finale.

Our choir sang very well and were a credit to the school throughout the whole afternoon. Thanks go to the parent volunteers

who helped on our walk to

Arnewood and to all parents, carers

and friends who came to support the

concert.

There have been several

complaints about inconsiderate

parking during the school pick-

up. Please do not park on the

pavement—it blocks access for

others and causes unnecessary

distress.
