Assa Ashuach uses various 3D printing technologies to bring to life chairs that “learn as they grow”, lighting with intricate yet light and airy shapes, playful and colourful jewellery and more. The new STEM 45° chair was 3D printed at a speed of only 20 hours. It is opening the discussion around future design methodologies at both large and small scales, where automated processes will be fed by a combination of human and biological intelligence, designing a new type of tool-path for the robots to follow.
