MARIE RIVIER ASSOCIATES ANNUAL RALLY WITH THEIR SENEGALESE COUNTERPARTS FROM THE 7TH TO 8TH JULY 2012
7TH JULY
The day began with a talk followed by a thanksgiving mass which was witness by many associate members.
The talk
This talk was presented by Sister Sarian Gomez who talked about the zeal of Marie Rivier and her ardent love for the poor. Also her commitment to the life of prayer. Therefore, all associates were challenge to be committed to the work Mother Rivier had given to each one of them. Sister went on to thank those members who have been faithful all these years as an associate member. She encouraged each one of them to keep the flag of commitment high so that new members could always follow their footsteps.
It is interesting to know that the Senegalese came with male associates. Very inspiring men. Thank God for their commitment.

8TH DAY IN KUNKUJANG MARIAMA
The day began with a thanksgiving mass which was offered for all Marie Rivier Associates Members.
Fr. Job blessing all those who went to Kunkujang for the rally.
After mass we had the recitation of the rosary while processing to the shrine of our lady of Kunkujang

After the rosary, we had lunch followed by recreation. At the end of recreation there was sharing base on works done in the two countries.
As Marie Associates, they are engage in:
• REATREATS • WORKSHOPS ON ECOLOGY • SOLIDARITY WITH EACH OTHER( FOR
INSTANCE FUNERALS) • CONCERTS • HELPING POOR STUDENTS • VISITING AND PRAYING WITH THE SICK • GOING ON PILGRIMAGES TO PRAYERFUL SANCTUARIES IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES.
The day ended with vespers led by the associate members.
