ABOUT ASWAGANDHA The ancient Indian herb Ashwagandha is one of the most

valuable herbs in ayurveda. Ashwagandhaor Withaniasomnifera, also known as "Winter Cherry" and "Indian Ginseng," Sanskrit word Ashwagandha comes from two words 'Ashwa' (Horse) and 'Gandha' (Odour). The combined words means “horse smell” due to reason that the herb’s root has the odor of sweaty horse. Winter cherry is a shrub cultivated in India and North America,Pakistan, Sri Lanka and in parts of Africa. Ayurveda practitioners have used its roots for 4000 years old medicinal history. It grows in both cold and warm regions of India. Ashwagandha is a rejuvenatingherb used to treat various types of diseases such as respiratory, insomnia, adaptogen(adapt stress), female disease, and also helpful for overall body system- reproductive, digestive and nervous system and also promotes stamina and general well being.
