    At this point in my life, Im considered an adult. Yes,maybe sometimes I dont completely act like it, but thatspart of life, right? As Im growing up, I realize just how

    much you did for me. And, for that, I need to truly thankyou something I dont think I!e appropriately done todate.

    "ad, thank you for telling me what Im capable of. #orgi!ing me the support that I needed to build a dream tochase after. And for belie!ing that I ha!e the talent toreach my goals.

    $om, thank you for making me realize that Im worthe!erything in this world. %hat I must be treated like a&ueen, and that I should ne!er settle for less than what Ideser!e.

    "ad, thank you for spending countless hours after you gothome from work each night to teach me math that I wasnt

    going to learn in school for a few years later. It kept mechallenged and ahead of the class.

    $om, thank you for gi!ing me a shoulder to cry on whenboys broke my heart, and to let me know that my worldwasnt crashing down around me as much as I belie!ed itwas at the time.

    "ad, thank you for coaching me from the sidelines before,during, and after e!ery soccer game. I ne!er had a trulygood game until you told me I did.

    $om, thank you for standing up for me from the sidelines,and yelling at other moms when their daughters tried to

    fight me on the field. %o show me to ne!er back downagainst a bully, and to gi!e them a taste of their ownmedicine.

    "ad, thank you for getting mad at me when my report carddidnt ha!e high enough grades. #or making me realizethat I can put more time into my work and impro!e myperformance as a result.

    $om, thank you for getting to know my friends all ofthem to make sure that I was choosing them wisely. %hatI was continually surrounding myself with respectable andresponsible people through each and e!ery phase of mylife.

    "ad, thank you for letting me help you work on the cars inthe dri!eway and show me how to change my own oil. Imay ha!e only had to do this once in my life, but at least Ididnt look like an idiot while I was doing it.

    $om, thank you for passing on your belief in greaterthings that are entirely out of my control. %hat e!erythinghappens for a reason, and well one day figure out why.%hat there are moments we e'perience that pro!idecomfort and a sense of self that we cant e'plain.

    "ad, thank you for being so strict with your rules that I

    missed out on some moments that could ha!e led medown the wrong path. #or standing your ground when Ibegged to go somewhere or do something that, inhindsight, could ha!e introduced me to things that wouldjeopardize my future fore!er.

    $om, thank you for laughing at my kindergarten teacherwhen they said I was going to struggle in life because Icouldnt gallop for seeing through this bullshit and

    recognizing I was more capable than what acting like ananimal in the hallways (pro!es).

    "ad, thank you for understanding when I take a leap offaith. And for supporting me in my journey e!en if itdoesnt seem logical at times. #or recognizing that its whatI need to do, and hearing me out.

    $om, thank you for your personality. #or sharing yourlo!e of life, sense of humor, e'citement for e!erye'perience, ability to befriend a stranger, and courage tolook fear directly in the face until it backs down.

    "ad, thank you for your lo!e of sports both in watchingand playing them. #or raising me as a tomboy, andshowing me what a true sports fan looks like.

    $om, thank you for showing me the female ropes. *i!ingme tips on how to dress like a girl, and do my makeupproperly. #or teaching me manners and how to act like alady.

    "ad, thank you for showing me what hard work looks like.#or showing me that nothing comes easy, and that

    countless hours of blood, sweat and tears really does payoff.
