DESCRIPTION
Atelier-D is born from designer Jonathan Dorthe’s desire to reinterpret traditional craft techniques. He uses new technologies to produce limited editions of everyday contemporary objects. Inspired by his studies in architecture and interest in patterns, he creates an architectural vocabulary by mixing motifs with materials. CHEVRON TABLEBLACK ACRYLIC
This small side table is made of black frosted acrylic. A pattern of chevrons is etched on the top and sides of the table, and small shapes are also lasercut. The project plays with the graphic design of the herringbone to create an interest-ing object, mixing both etching and cutting to create a tactile and visual pattern effect.

HEXA TABLE MAPLE STRUCTURE WHITE ACRYLIC TOP
As its name suggests, this accent table has a hexagonal shape. The trestle shaped structure is made out of maple wood and the top is made of white acrylic. The top is perforated and the ends are folded to add texture and strength. These sculptural tables create a nice contempo-rary ambiance and project interesting geometric shadows.

These architectural tables are made from a thin laser-cut plywood, assembled to create volume. The top can be made from black acrylic to contrast the light structure, or can be made of natural wood. These sculptural tables create a nice contemporary ambiance and project geometric shadows.

This valet will help you organize your clothes, shoes and accessories with style. Its made of a maple structure with two black acrylic shelves. The plastic trays are perforated with a houndstooth pattern in allusion to men’s fashion.

CYLINDER LATH LAMPTABLE AND PENDANT LIGHTS
The architectural Lath Lamp is made from a thin laser-cut plywood, assembled to create volume. The horizontal band is made of a zebrano wood veneer to contrast the light structure, which creates a warm lantern effect. The Cylinder Lath Lamp is designed in two different sizes and can be used as a table light or pendant. It projects dramatic geometric shadows.
Each lamp comes with a 10’ black cord set UL Listed, 60 Watt max.

BLACK PENTAGONPENDANT LIGHTS
These lamps are made of one piece of black matte acrylic that is bent four times to create a pentagon shape. Three of the five sides are perforated with a gradient of holes that let the light shine through and creates a nice shadow pattern. These pendant lamps create a warm and contemporary lattern effect.
They come with a 15 ‘- 5 ” black or black & white woven cord UL Listed, 60 Watt max. To reduce heat buildup, ONLY CFL (compact flo-rescent) or LED bulbs should be used.

The Standing Clock is a minimally designed time-teller that will fit into any home or office space. Made out of acrylic, the Standing Clock can be mounted on the wall despite its name. It can also be placed on a flat surface. The face itself has been etched into the acrylic for added texture. Available in two basic colors: pale silver or frosted black.

The Etched Clock is a minimally designed time-teller that will fit into any home or office space. Made out of acrylic, the face itself has been etched into the acrylic for added texture. The Etched Clock is available in two basic colors: silver or frosted black.

This Pencil Box is made of offcuts of acrylic pieces. Each box is unique, using different thick-nesses and colors of plastic; opaque white, transparent, frosted, translucent white. The parts are cut and assembled without glue and the pieces are interchangeable so you can play with the different layers and create your own version.

Set of 4 pentagon shaped coasters and one trivet. The coasters are in 1/4’’ plywood, you can get them etched with a geometric pattern and stained or with a natural finish and no etch-ing. You can use them alone on a small table or combine them to protect a bigger surface.

Set of 6 round shaped coasters. The coasters are in 1/4’’ plywood, they are etched and stained on one side with a geometric pattern and the other side has a natural finish and no etching. You can use them individually on a small table or combine them to protect a bigger surface.

The Vanity Coat Rack has six pegs in maple wood, a mirror, and black or white board to write messages. The mirror and black/white board slide in a groove at the top of the wood mount, orienting them as you wish. Its practical in the kitchen to hang your bags and dish towels, or to keep a list of the new restaurants you want to try. It’s useful in the bedroom, to display your jewelry, or at the entrance of your home, to hang your clothes and drop your mail.

OBLIKA PUZZLE ETCHED WOOD OR PLASTIC
OBLIKA is a puzzle composed of 22 geometric wooden pieces. Arrange the pieces inside the wooden frame to form a square, or play out-side the box and create many original and fun shapes. Each piece is unique and is etched with a linear pattern. The puzzle can be assembled in many different ways - a world of possibilities!
