CERN slowly back since Thursday January 5th.

ATLAS detector is opened from both sides. Consolidation works ongoing. ATLAS acknowledges Manuel’s (LAL) contribution

Reprocessing with Release 21 will start in February. Goal to finish 2016 Data+MC before new Run begins

SEILLAC meeting : From 3-5 of May. Arrival on 2/05.

Started the CILO meetings with representatives from 5 laboratories to discuss about refondation (=“possible forms of collaboration between them”).

1) Laurent Serin will be the next ATLAS-IN2P3 responsible from March on, taking over from Isabelle.

2) Upgrades : Meeting at Lyon among the project leaders/lab to fix a proposal for the French contributions. Report in the next meeting

3) Patrice Verdier sent us the budget he allocates to ATLAS

Following this proposal we will have 174kE of missions (184-taxes) in 2017 instead of 253kE in 2016 (68%)

It seems mandatory that we have to limit further our travels.

Delivered the LAL-wishes card for the Special (and still confidential) event to thank our Management for his ending mandate. The event will take place durint ATLAS week (the 15th of February). Need to know the nb of participating persons. ***don’t go at CERN only for this! ***

CILO topical meetings –assemblees etc will take some time but our participation is realy needed. Please try to participate, the evolution of our Lab is a concern for all of us.
