Attachment 2: Streamlined Bus Routing with Private Funding Concepts

Streamlining the Corona Cruiser bus lines would preserve the mobility, efficiency, and usefulness of the bus system by running direct service through high density commercial corridors while continuing to circulate through residential areas. Timed transfer points to RTA would be established at key points, such as the Corona Transit Center, the Corona Rehabilitation Hospital, and the Dos Lagos Center. Public-private partnerships with the private sector could further fund these expansions.

Note that the proposed RTA local bus line between Corona and Lake Elsinore was recommended by an RTA comprehensive operational analysis in 2007.
