Wedding Packages

Au d’ Hex is in perfect harmony with nature nestled between the mountains of Wellington. Our hidden gem offers a weekend of

relaxing and celebration with the Manor House that can accommodate 20 of your guests. Get married on our floating jetty, with the mountains as the back drop and a lovely way to kiss the

bride, and making the first memories together as husband and wife.

Guests make their way trough our lovely roses and lavender garden where the canapés and pre drinks will be served.

You can then decide if you want to have your wedding under our clear marquee, were you can celebrate and allowing the outside elements to be a part of the setting and the sun dips behind the

mountains and the stars begin to shine, the dance floor and

atmosphere comes to life like an en enchanted affaire…. We can also seat up to 60 people inside, with

our lovely French furniture, that is included in our packages.

Au d’Hex can accommodate up to 80 guests and we would love to welcome you to the venue of your dreams for

anything form a wedding, conference or special function. We are a stone throw away from our little town Wellington,

and 75 km from Cape Town.

1. Bookingswillnotbeconfirmedwithoutreceiptofthecompletedconfirmationsheet,

signedagreementandpaymentofthedepositofthevenuefeeandthedepositforbreakages.Onlyfaxedoremailedconfirmationwillbeaccepted.Allcorrespondencemustbemadeviaemail/fax.

2. Provisionalbookingsarevalidfor7days,venuefeewillberequiredtosecureyourbooking payable, within 24 hours. Provisional bookingswill be releasedwithoutnotification,shouldyoufailtoconfirmviaemailorfaxwithinthisperiod.

3. Should you cancel your confirmedbooking 3months prior to function date, fullpaymentoftheVenuefeeispayable/shouldyoucancelbetween4ormoremonthspriortothefunctiondate,anypaiddepositswillbeforfeited.

4. Shouldyourfunctionbecancelledwithin7daysofthefunctiona100%cancellationfee,basedontheestimatedcosts,calculatedontheamountofguestsconfirmed30days prior to the Wedding date (including accommodation / staff / catering /beverages).

5. Shouldyoupostponeyourconfirmedfunctiondateyourdepositwillbeforfeited.6. Finalnumbersmustbeconfirmed30(thirty)daysbeforeyourfunctionandthiswill

be the minimum bill deposit charged to your account. All outstanding bar bill,corkagefee,venuefees,menuandextendedvenuefeeandallotherextrasaretobesettled30dayspriortotheWedding.Thetabonthedayjustafterthefunctionbeforecheckout.

7. Ifanyincidentrelatedtothefunctionresultsinlegalinvolvementofathirdparty,the client will indemnify Au d’Hex Estate its employees and agents from allresponsibilityandblame.

8. Indemnity:Aud’Hexwillnotbeheldresponsible forany losses,damages, theft,injuryordeathofanyguestorotherindividualswhoattend,makeuseorvisitthepropertyormakeuseofanyamenitiesontheAud’HexEstatewillnotbeliableforanydamagesorlostweddinggifts.

9. Allguests,visitors,serviceprovidersandanypersonsnotemployedbyAud’Hexenter the premises at their own risk and Au d’ Hex Estate does not accept anyresponsibilityoftheirsafetyandorwellbeing.

10. ChildrenaremostwelcometoAud’HexEstate,howeveradultsupervisionisoftheupmostimportanceatalltimeswithresponsibilityforsafetyandwell-beingrestingwiththeparents.Therearewaterfeaturesandanopenswimmingpoolanddamonthepropertyandvigilanceisrequired.Aud’Hexindemnitydeclarationalsoappliesinthisinstance.

11. Kindlynote that smoking is notpermitted in the function venue. The venuehasdemarcatedoutdoorareaswheresmokingisallowed.

12. Lost/found items must be collected within 7 days, if not collected it will besponsoredtocharity.
