My audience

My main target audience is males aged 16-25 which is why the majority of people who answered these questionnaires are in that range. 13 males aged between 16 and 18 filled in the questionnaire.

Some girls between 16 and 25 which is why some of the questionnaires are filled out by girls in this range. 7 girls between 16 and 18 filled in the questionnaire.

The majority of people did not have a favourite magazine which could be due to the lack of 100% indie music magazines.

NME was the most popular choice of magazine with 6 votes.

The top two favourite colours were blue and red. I have chosen red to be part of my colour scheme as it was also chosen as the most common answer in which colour relates to indie music.

Interviews with artists was chosen as the most important thing in a music magazine therefore there will be plenty included in my magazine.

Red, black and yellow were the three most common answers to the question which three colours do you relate to indie music, therefore I will try to incorporate these into my colour scheme.

The majority of people said they would pay between £2.10 and £3 for a music magazine therefore I will chose my price from within this range.

When asked ‘what the first three things you think of when someone says indie music’ the most common answers were unique, different and unusual and I have chosen Unique to be my magazine title
