AudienceView Product Update
Version 1.1.0 - 10th
February 2016
Please be informed that AudienceView has been updated on 10th February 2016 to version 1.1.0.
Along with important bug fixes and some minor terminology labeling updates, this updated brings
some exciting new capabilities and insights to AudienceView, as detailed below.
Digital Snapshot Reports
Introducing an all new instant snapshot
With this release, we debut the availability of a Digital Snapshot report. As the name implies, the
Digital Snapshot report provides a summarized view of digital behavior for a select audience
segment. Like the current Profile Snapshot, the Digital Snapshot provides these high-level digital
behavior insights in an easy-to-read and easy-to-interpret graphical report format.
The Digital Snapshot report is accessed via the “Create” menu in the AudienceView top menu
ribbon or via a dedicated “Quick Link” button on the home page.
Like the Profile Snapshot report, the Digital Snapshot enables you to select a reporting period, a
target audience profile and a base audience profile.

The Digital Snapshot report displays insight “cards” similar to the Profile Snapshot as well as
similar navigation to view each card. AudienceView version 1.1.0 includes the first deployment of
the Digital Snapshot report.
Enhancements to this report (additional sorting capabilities, switching the visual charts to index vs.
size, etc.) will come with subsequent updates.

Search Term Portfolios in Digital Behavior Reports
Use a search term portfolio as a subject
You are now able to use a Search Term Portfolio (STP) as a subject in digital behavior reports.
This new feature provides another filter dimension to digital reports. Now you are able to not only
define your audience segment by a portfolio of search terms, but you are able to filter your digital
report to show search activity for those terms in the STP among your target audience segment.
Using a STP as a report subject will limit your report output to a search report only – providing
metrics on search activity for those terms in the STP among your target audience segment.
5
Also, on this release the limit of STP in AudienceView has been increased to up to 50,000 search
terms, and the limit for a Custom Industry to up to 5,000 websites.
To create a STP or a Custom Industry using CSV files, just go to the “Create > Custom List” menu
in the AudienceView top menu ribbon.
System Segments
New segments available
On this release we have introduced new System Segments (‘AV Standard’) which now span
across all our core demographics attributes (Age, Gender, Mosaic, State and Household Income),
as well as the Online Population.
These segments can be used as the target, base or comparison audience across all reports in
AudienceView and provide quicker insights without the user having to build each one of these
segments manually.

Branding
Hitwise | AudienceViewTM
To reflect our new ownership and brand position, brand identification in the AudienceView header
and footer banners has been updated with the Hitwise product brand as a division of Connexity.
Revamped Desktop/Mobile Rate
New look the device split metric on Digital Behaviour Reports
The Desktop/Mobile Rate metric is now presented in a more intuitive stacked, green bar. This
metric is found on the Digital Behaviour Reports and is by default visible (as long as the ‘All
Devices’ option is not unselected). A similar approach will be implemented for Paid Rates and
Organic Rates on subsequent updates of AudienceView.

Provide Feedback
Build-in feedback functionality in a new location
The feedback function has moved to a new location and can now be easily found under the setting
menu (the “gear” icon) on the top right of the screen so you can continue submitting your feedback
on AudienceView.
