Come to The 136th AES Convention in Berlin to find out why and meet the world’s electronic music and technology leaders in this historic city!The 136th AES Convention will be held in Berlin, Germany from April 26-29, 2014, at the Estrel Hotel and Convention Center. The AES Convention continues to be the largest gathering of professionals involved in the audio industry, and we are very excited to continue the momentum we have been building throughout the last year — including our 135th Convention in New York City in October 2013, one of the most successful conventions in recent memory.

The AES136 Convention will bring together audio professionals and enthusiasts from around the world to share the latest knowledge in audio research, development

and applications. Workshops, tutorials, a full Technical Program of Papers, Posters, E-Briefs and more will provide attendees with a wealth of

learning, networking and business opportunities. Additionally, the Berlin convention will feature a strong focus on Electronic Music,

Sound for Picture, Recording, and Broadcast aspects of audio engineering, in addition to the popular off-site Technical Tours and social networking events.

Following the success of the Project Studio Expo (PSE) at recent AES conventions in San Francisco and New

York, the PSE will also make its European debut at AES136, and a special Technology Showcase will

provide participating companies with a chance to interface directly

with interested end users and customers.

THE EXHIBIT FLOOR, PANELS AND TECHNICAL SESSIONS WERE PACKED ALL FOUR DAYS OF OUR MOST RECENT EVENT, THE 135TH AES CONVENTION IN NEW YORK, AND AS AES CELEBRATED ITS 65TH ANNIVERSARY, A FIVE-YEAR-HIGH NUMBER OF 18,453 REGISTRANTS WAS TALLIED. AT SHOW CLOSE, A 16% INCREASE IN REGISTRATION WAS REPORTED SINCE THE LAST TIME THE CONVENTION WAS IN NEW YORK (131ST AES). WITH MORE THAN 75 AES PROFESSIONAL SECTIONS AND MORE THAN 95 AES STUDENT SECTIONS THROUGHOUT THE U.S., LATIN AMERICA, EUROPE, JAPAN AND THE FAR EAST, AES CONTINUES TO BE THE ONLY PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY DEVOTED EXCLUSIVELY TO AUDIO TECHNOLOGY.
