notices• Night Life - Last Sunday we launched our new evening service
for young adults and had a great night. Night Life is a fortnightlyservice from 5:30pm. Come along and bring your friends! Formore info or to get involved email [email protected]
• Prayer at Capital Vineyard - We have several weekly prayerevents here at CV which we would love for you to come along to:
Sunday Pre-service prayer - 9am-9:45 in the Royal RugRockers room
Monday prayer and fasting - Prayer from 12-2pm and fast all day
Prayer Fest - Last Monday of each month from 7:30 -9pm. Diarythis night for prayer as a church. We need the fuel!

• Alpha and Marriage Course: Wednesday nights at 7:00starting on 4 August at CV. A meal is followed by DVD anddiscussion. Alpha runs for 10 weeks and includes a weekendaway, Marriage course for 7 weeks. Come and invite yourfriends. All welcome, free of costs apart from booklets.
• Radical For Jesus? - Elliot & Leigh are starting a new connectgroup in Ngaio. Everyone is welcome. It will run Thursdays at7pm, starting August 12th @ 12 Patna St. There will be worship,prayer, exegesis, fellowship, food and radicalness for Jesus. • Scripture Union Pray Day for Schools - On Friday 6th Augustwe are encouraging everyone who has a heart for schools aroundNZ to join together and pray. Join us for soup, bread and acreative prayer time from 12:30-1:30pm at our Wellington Ofce. Please RSVP by phoning385 0485. We will also have a prayer room open with activities to help you pray between9am-6pm. Wellington Office: 9A Oxford Terrace, Newtown, Wellington.
• Arty Parties - Cushion - 7pm, Monday 9th August at CV. Make your own fabulous cushion coverwith Sophie Voon. Cost is $5 for cushion inner + money for fabric (or you can bring your own).Please bring a sewing machine if you have one. Rsvp to [email protected] to conrmyour spot.
• Mugs and Money - Here at CV we are encouraging our regulars to bring their own mug to theservice for hot drinks. Our hope is that if people bring their own mug we can cut back onwastage and extra costs incurred by the many paper cups we currently use. We have also putout a donation cup at the espresso machine. The drinks are still free but if you feel like donating$1 to cover costs of running the machine, just pop it in the cup. PS, don’t forget to take your cuphome to wash it! And if you’re a visitor there are still some paper cups available for you.
• Project Thomas - We are aiming to raise $10,000 to go towards Cyclone Thomas victims in
Fiji. We will be focussing on the needs in the Savu Savu region on Vanua Levu via our contactsPeter and Lorraine Briton. Please mark any gifts for the project and place in the tithes box atthe back.
