Northern Australia Guide

A view from Ubirr, Northern Australia Kakdau National Park
Truly Amazing Experiences from the NT( Northern Territory)...In Kakaku, Litchfield, and Katherine National Park...
As the crocodile slowly creeps slowly towards you, you mind goes
blank and the only thing you want to do is to just turn back,
scream, and dart, as you feet will let you. But, as an animal lover, I
stayed back to examine to the magni?icent coloration that the
crocodile’s eye gives off. Canary yellow pair of ?lashlights shines
back on my body as we illuminate the sallow lights of the
?lashlight onto its muscular head.
The feeling that crawls down your spine when you are two feet
away from a Fresh Water Crocodile. It is indescribable. The only

people that knows what that feels like has been to the Northern
Territory of Australia.
The Northern Territory is the peak where Darwin, the second
most populated city containing about 220,000 people and covers
about 17% of Australia’s land mass. Darwin is the northern most
city where the cool breeze with the burning sun makes the
perfect temperature for visitors like me to just walk around into
the bustle streets to enjoy a nice walk. The sunlight re?lecting off
people’s sunglasses brightens the eyes and the smell of barbies
(Aussie slang for barbecue) goes to your nose as the beautiful
smell just makes you go in and try it. The juicy grilled beef
sizzling, served with a side of fresh vegetables and golden fries.
The moonlight shining in through the windows as the smoke

The rock faces on the side of the river made an excellent photo shot where people can admire the views and relax on the cruise
BILLABONGfrom the grills blurs our vision. The white misty smoke rise from
the grills like ghost escaping from a cof?in.
As the cold bus travels along the dirt road to the billabong that
awaits us several kilometers away, we wait. Trying to get some
sleep. When we are waken by the guide screaming out about a
wallaby. Without a hesitation, we all look outside to look at a tan
brown colored wallaby jump around in the horizon where the
eucalyptus trees create a shade for the wallabies to move away
from the shades to cool down. As we leaved a trail of thick dust,
we only had two hours on the road to go. So far that we could see
the curvature of the earth in the distance with no cars to be
found. It felt like we were the only people on this planet.
As the long journey to the billabong ended, we were amazed by
the cool breeze that blew our hairs even the blazing sun was
[4]
directly hitting our skin. The lotus plants covering
the billabong like ants swarming around a piece of
candy. The lotus leaves illuminating off a bright
light that makes your eyes close. The ?lowers a
brilliant crimson just makes you take you photos
of it.
The wonderful views that lay beyond across
the desert ground as we the stars above
makes our whole stress go away. As the
frogs croak and the crickets chirping, the
soft mattress makes everyone just snore to
sleep.
The amazing that experience we had in the
Northern Territory of Australia was the
best experience that I have ever had. We
saw tongs and tons of animals and
aboriginal life. Which made the experience a
lot better one. The Northern Territory of
Australia was a place where everyone
should visit.
THe different kinds of land formations can form on the rocky surfaces on the rock cliffs create an excellent place to take photos and admire the beauty that you can never see.
