Services, Cities and Growth

Singapore and Australia.

The meeting will explore the importance of services and their importance for the growth of cities. The

discussion will cover key issues related to human capital development and urban amenities to city

success and then cities’ contribution to globalization.

that support those contributions and the scope for regional cooperation to facilitate change.

The Conference will also include a special afternoon session on the outlook for the ASEAN economies.

The meeting is organised by the University of Adelaide in conjunction with the Asia Growth Research

Centre, which is located in the Ngee Ann Adelaide Education Centre (NAAEC) in Singapore.
