Javier Campoy is a Spanish architect and designer (Madrid, 1989), currently working in Seoul, South Korea, at BCHO architects as Architect & Designer.He graduated from the University of Alicante with a distinction in his final thesis and the honor to be the best student of his promotion (2007-2014). Due to his brilliant academic career, he was designated as Honorific Professor (2014-2015) in the School of Architecture of the University of Alicante.Javier started his professional career during his last year at the university, with two periods of six month internship at two young and well-known Architecture ateliers in Alicante: PLAYstudio and at COR&Asociados. After finishing his academic career, Javier worked for nearly two years as Junior Architect in TAMATestudio, an architecture atelier with full of prestigious and references in Alicante. Looking for new challenges and exciting experiences, Javier moved to Seoul in 2016 and started working as a Junior Architect & Designer at BCHO architects, one of the most important and well known locally and internationally ateliers in South Korea. During all his short but yet intense career Javier has been developed experience in local and international projects with different program and scales related to architecture, interior design, public space and also competitions. Javier has been working in a great number of collaborative projects and research teams and participated in multidisciplinary and multicultural processes, necessary for the success of any practice either architectural or any other kind. This experience has developed his teamwork skills such as leadership and coordination of working groups, multitasking or fluent communication.
