These homeowners sought a durable paving material with enhanced design flexibility to replace their driveway and transform their backyard patio space. County Materials’ Ready-Mix was selected for its local availability and diverse stamped designs and color options.
To minimize snow and ice buildup on their driveway, the homeowners chose to install a hydronic heating system underneath. Ready-mix concrete was poured over the hydronic heating system’s tubing and steel mesh reinforcement. Concrete resists wear and freeze/thaw cycles throughout its extended service life.
Alchemy Concrete used custom stamps to texturize the integrally colored concrete to complement the aesthetic of the house and surrounding natural limestone features.

The homeowners were impressed with the performance of their driveway and selected County Materials’ Ready-Mix to transform their backyard patio. A variety of admixtures were used to create a patio area, steps, retaining walls, a pool, and a waterfall structure. A white cement with a sapphire blue admixture was chosen to form the pool and give the water a bright blue hue. Sandstone colored ready-mix was poured and stamped and bordered with a charcoal colored mix.
