PBIS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Letter From Mrs. Maltby

Hello Aycock Warriors! I'm happy to let you know that as of this moment our neighborhood managed to come up with a total of $534.60 towards the PBIS incentives! I've spent $161.70 so far and with the remaining funding, I hope to spread out our deliveries to get through at least November and December. Unless I hear from one of you, I'll plan to make another delivery THIS FRIDAY AM. If there's anything I've bought that is a particularly popular item, please let me know (or anything that does not go). I'll plan to shop this Thursday and really want to get what the kids like. I understand that there hasn't been a ROAR cart for the last two Fridays so I'm hoping it will be able to start up again this week. I don't want to see the program loose it's effectiveness with too many gaps between rewards. With great respect for all you guys do . . . Esther Maltby

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE MALTBY FAMILY AND THE AYCOCK HISTORICAL SOCIETY!

CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

STAFF CONCERN #1“I have seen an increase in students wondering the hallway during instructional time. It is very difficult to teach my class when there are kids running and screaming up and down the hallway or peeking through door windows.”

CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

STAFF CONCERN #2From SBLT Meeting

What are the routes the students should take during the winter? Or are the routes going to stay the same?

This Month’s Challenge

SMOD MODELS! Pick 3 students from your grade level who know

how to rock their SMOD and make it look cool! Those students that you choose will become our official SMOD models and will have a chance walk the runway at our next assembly. The more creative the better, and we are looking for boys and girls to model!

These students will also receive $20 Den Dollars! Send me a list of names via email.

ROAR-TISERS TEAM(RST)

Please make a list of wall areas that need ROAR posters. The ROARSERVE student team have been putting some in the hallways. Triplett: Can we have the print shop make us some posters? The poster paper

for our current ones rips to easily and it is not staying on the walls.

Please submit ideas for hallway bulletin boards and it will be passed along to the students.
