We're so glad you said yes to kicking off a Baby Bottle Boomerang(BBB). Through this campaign you're championing the gospel ofJesus and the sacredness of human life -- and God is reachingwomen, men, and babies through your support. BBB is a simple program, and a great way for kids to get involvedtoo. Enclosed are materials to help you have a successful campaign.Feel free to use your creative side to enhance participation. We provide the bottles to you. You distribute the bottles to thepeople in your church, group, ororganization. Several weeks later, they returnthe bottles to you on an announceddate. (You determine the date thebottles are to be returned.) You return the bottles to Align LifeMinistries where we process them.

Q: When should I kickoff a Baby Bottle Boomerang Campaign?A: Anytime! Popular times are:

 Q:  How many bottles should I order? A:  We recommend 75% of the number of families in your church/group 

Q:  Where do I get the bottles?  A:  We provide the bottles and deliver them to your nearest Align Life Ministries location:

 

Q: Is my donation tax deductible? A:  All check donations will be receipted. Also every bottle has an insert that, if completed, We willreceipt cash donations of $20 and above. Sorry, we cannot receipt coin donations.

Q:  What if I need more bottles or I ordered too many? A: If you need more bottles, contact the Events Director who will make sure you get what you need. If youordered too many bottles, bring them back empty with the rest of your returns after your campaign ends.  

Q:  What if all the bottles aren’t returned by the end of the campaign? A. That is common. Return what you have so far. You can give periodic reminders a few times after thecampaign ends, and then let it go. You may get a few stragglers back here and there. Some people havefound that a "sign out sheet" for the bottles is helpful. Feel free to use the one included in this packet, orlisted as a downloadable on our website.

Q:  Where and how do I return the bottles? (They’re heavy!) A. You can return the bottles to the same location where you picked them up. The bottles that are filledcan be heavy. We recommend you return filled bottles in a box of 25. Empty bottles can be returned in afull box.   

Q: Will I be informed how much our church/group raised? A: Yes. We ask that you allow us 6-8 weeks for processing. When processing is completed you will benotified via email or by postcard mailed to the church if we don’t have an email address for you.

COLLECTMake plans to collect the bottles for at least two consecutive weeks.Make sure you have enough boxes to collect the bottles. They will be heavy! (Please puta maximum of 25 filled bottles per box.)Line up strong arms and backs to move filled bottles to your vehicle.

I had no idea that I would bethe one who would be so changed!” Your gift helps people know the love and truth of Jesus, and align with Him.

EVENT KICKOFF DAY:

At the end of our worship service today, we will be distributing special baby bottles for the Baby BottleBoomerang campaign of Align Life Ministries, formerly known as Susquehanna Valley Pregnancy Services. Please pick up a bottle and take it home. Fill the bottles with cash, coins, or check (made out to Align LifeMinistries), and return it to the church Sunday, ___________ (date). Thank you for your participation.  Align Life Ministries aligns with God to champion the gospel of Jesus Christ and the sacredness of human lifethrough pregnancy services, strategic partnerships, and equipping resources.  Baby Bottle Boomerang funds help clients find healing from past abortion decisions. Carrie had an abortionyears ago and worked through the Surrendering the Secret Bible study with us. She initially resisted applyingscriptures to her life, but now she meditates on them daily, saying, “I used to think they were for everyone elsebut me. Now I don’t know how I’d make it without them!” Align Life Ministries wants to reach manymore post-abortive women and men with Christ’s truth, forgiveness, and grace.

Proceeds from Baby Bottle Boomerang can help people like Elena, a young mom required by the court to takeour parenting classes. She didn’t want to engage with our program at first. But we showed Elena kindness andtold her about the Heavenly Father who values and loves her. She eventually completed the course anddonated her leftover CARE Cash to a fellow client! One of our volunteers said, “Clients can find onesies andother things they need at garage sales, but they don’t find Jesus in those places. They come to us becausethey see Jesus here.” God’s truth shared through Align Life Ministries brings wisdom and hope to youngparents in difficult situations.
