BECOMING A CHRISTIAN BY THE A B C’S
ADMIT you are a sinner, in need of a Savior. BELIEVE that Jesus is the Son of God. Believe that he gave his
life for you. Believe that he died and rose from the dead. COMMIT your life to Jesus. He will forgive you and cleanse you
from all unrighteousness. DEMONSTRATE your new life in Christ through baptism, church
participation and daily living.
You may join our church family in any of these three ways: 1. By confessing Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord, and requesting
believer’s baptism, or 2. By promise of letter from another church, or 3. By statement of prior decision for Christ and believer’s
immersion baptism from another church

Although we had a great visit with the prospective candidate and felt strongly that his ministry philosophies would mesh well with our congregation, we have been unable to come to a mutually
satisfactory arrangement for compensation. Therefore the candidate and the committee have decided it best for us to
continue our search. We have resubmitted our ad in The Pathway and through the SBC website. We await additional resumes to come in which
means our next meeting will probably not be until at least mid-Oct. Please continue to pray for God to reveal the man He has
chosen to be our next Senior Pastor. Your Pastor Search Committee:
Tony Keene (Chair), Mike Brummit, Tabitha Cleaver, Bertha Crump, Elsie Rudd, Tanya Tatro, and Jonathan Walker.
