Note-1: The Learners are advised to be in touch with GITAM Centre forDistance Learning and contact concerned persons for further details.

Note-2: Submission of assignments: The evaluation, as informed already,consists of (a) continuous assessment and (b) year-end assessment. Forcontinuous assessment, the Learner has to submit two assignments for eachcourse/paper written in his/her own handwriting in the booklets only sent

along with study material. The assignment papers are also being sent and theLearners are advised to go through the assignment question papers and submitthe assignments on or before the scheduled time fixed for the purpose, i.e. 28-02-2014. A candidate has to secure a minimum of 10 out of 30 ininternal assessment (Assignments) and a minimum of 21 out of 70 in theyear/semester-end exams together securing an aggregate of 40 marks out of100 (both internal assessment and year/semester-end assessment puttogether) to secure a pass in a course / paper.

Note-3: Non-submission of assignments as per the scheduled date mentionedabove attracts a fine of Rs.200/- per each assignment of a paper. The finepayable depends on the number of assignments not submitted by the due dateof the programme.

Note-4: Assignments will be accepted with the prescribed fine only upto 31-03-2014 and under any circumstances the assignments will not be acceptedfrom 1 st April, 2014 .

Note-5: The Learners are advised to attend the week-end classes as per theirconvenience.
