Bacardi and Jamie Oliver joined forces a few months ago to launch Drinks Tube, a YouTube channel dedicated to the art of mixology. In celebration of the summer cocktail months, Drinks Tube created a Cocktail Request Week that would allow individuals to request a full range of delicious drinks made with premium Bacardi spirits. The event used a pop-up studio in the Old Street Underground station in London and featured top bartender Rich Hunt and International Bartender of the Year Simone Caporale, as well as special guests.

These mixologists responded to viewer requests from social media platforms as commuters watched.

The experiment has resulted in the creation of several delicious new cocktails, such as the GuanabanaBanger, inspired by a picture of a watermelon on the beach in Mallorca. This cocktail blends BACARDÍ white rum, fresh watermelon, tamarind, lime, and guanabana juice. Jamie Oliver even responded to a request from singer Ed Sheeran. The resultant Ed Sheeran Shake features DEWAR’S Blended Scotch whisky with black coffee, vanilla ice cream, and Benedictine herbal liqueur.
