Until individuals give up their personal desires and pursuits for the sake of the larger community, everlasting peace is unattainable. The Ideal human in Sikhism would not place an emphasis on outwardly rituals of performance, but rather concentrate on rigorous and disciplined internal devotion to God. One of the ways this can be achieved is through remembrance of God, done through recitation of hymns and songs during specific times in the day, usually from memorization. A Sikh would also balance many aspects of his life such as work, worship, and charity and would be an active force in defending the rights of all creations, especially humans. Charity is also a great virtue in Sikhism. The Ideal human in the Bahia faith would strive in religious and humanistic unity which will lead to a complete and justice filled global society.
