Hand terminal IncludesWindowsMobileOperationSystemandSmartBalancingProgram.Receivesdifferentialpressure(-P)dataconnectingtotheflowmeterviaBluetoothandconvertsitintoinstantflow.Internalmemorycomparespresentflowcharacteristicsofknownbalancingvalvesanddeterminesthevalveposition.Insystembalancingoperationsyoucansavetheoperatedvalvesandgenerateaproject.YoucanconnectviaBluetoothbothtoyourcomputerandpersonalnotebook.
Connection accessories Theseconsistofmeasuringhosesandneedlesthatareconnectedtotheflowmeterandbalancingvalve.Bothhoseshavequick-connectionunits.Needlesthatenableconnectiontothemeasuringportsofthevalvecontainalatchlockingsysteminsteadoftheclassicboltlockingsystem.Thisallowsafastconnectionanddismantling.
Whenconnectedtotheflowmeterandbalancingvalvesyoucanmonitoronyourhandterminalgraphicallytheinstantflowandcomparethisdatawiththeflowsmemorizedinthesystemofotherbalancingvalves.YoucanperformastandardmeasuringwithpresetKvvaluesorbyintroducingspecialKvvalues.

AsitcanbeseeninthefigurewhenselectingtherightcartridgeacorrectflowratecanbeobtainedwithinthedefinedPdifference.Thus,evenifthesystemcontainsavariableflowratethebalancingvalvebalancesautomaticallythewholesystem. Cartridge selection 1-Pdifferencedefinestheminimumandmaximumdifferentialpressurevaluethatthevalvewillfaceintheinstallationlinetanmlar.
Afterdefiningthisvalue,youcanusetheflowratetableandselectthecartridgethatcomprisesthedefinedminimumandmaximumvalues.
2-TheflowrateshouldbeselectedfromthevariousflowratesthatliewithinthedefinedPdifferenceasindicatedinthetableandwithreferencetotheclosestflowratevalueofyourproject;thecartridgeshouldbeselectedcorrespondingly.

AsitcanbeseeninthefigurewhenselectingtherightcartridgeacorrectflowratecanbeobtainedwithinthedefinedPdifference.Thus,evenifthesystemcontainsavariableflowratethebalancingvalvebalancesautomaticallythewholesystem. Cartridge selection 1-Pdifferencedefinestheminimumandmaximumdifferentialpressurevaluethatthevalvewillfaceintheinstallationlinetanmlar.
Afterdefiningthisvalue,youcanusetheflowratetableandselectthecartridgethatcomprisesthedefinedminimumandmaximumvalues.
2-TheflowrateshouldbeselectedfromthevariousflowratesthatliewithinthedefinedPdifferenceasindicatedinthetableandwithreferencetotheclosestflowratevalueofyourproject;thecartridgeshouldbeselectedcorrespondingly.

Why are we balancing?
Thepressuredifferenceofvalvesandheatingequipmentswithinaninstallationlineshowvariety,inconnectionwiththedistancetothepump,causedbyfrictionlossesinthepipes.
Sendingthedesiredflowratetothemostremoteequipmentcanbeachievedonlybyapplyingmorepumppowerthannecessary.Thus,equipmentsthatareneartothepumpwillbesubjectedtoexcessiveflowratewhereasotherinstrumentswilllackthenecessaryflowrate.Thereforeadequateheatingorcoolingcannotbeachieved.
Old method: Balancing with pipe diameter
Duringthedesignprocessitisnotpossibletocalculatethepressuredropcausedbyfrictionwithineachpipecircuit.Duetothestandardizedpipediametersitisimpossibletoelecttherightpipediameterfortherightflowrate.
Reverse Return Balancing System
Enablesforeachequipmentsamepipelength.Althoughitcapturesalmostthedesignflowrates,howeveritisratheracostlysolutionduetothedoublepipeworkmanshipandtheadditionalpiperequirement.
System Balancing Using Balancing Valve
A - Static (Manuel) Balancing B - Dynamic (Automatic) Balancing
Whenthesettingofthemanualbalancingvalvechangesinthe
system,notonlytheflowrateofthisequipmentthatusesthe
balancingvalvewillchangebutalsothegeneralflowrateofotherpipes. Eachbranch,colonandmainpipelinerequiresadditionalStaticBalancing
Valves.
Theflowratepassingthroughstaticbalancingvalveinthesystemmustbe
adjustedandputintooperationmeasuredindividually.
Whenthesettingofautomaticbalancingvalvechanges,onlytheflow rateoftheequipmentthatusesthebalancingvalvewillchange,other equipmentswillnotbeaffected. Branch,colonandmainlinesdontrequireDynamicBalancingValve
Itwillbesufficienttoinstallitontheequipment. Dependingontheprojectthecartridgecanbeselectedandordered
andthevalveswillbemounteduponthesecartridgesandinstalled inthesystem.Nosettingormeasuringisrequiredwhenputtinginto operationthesystem. Causeslessresistanceandlesspressureloss.
