Owner’s comments "Escapada" is a astonishing beautiful sailing Yacht. It combines style, comfort, quality and high speeds. Baltic Yachts is famous for building strong but light high quality finished yachts. "Escapada" is updated every year since her launch and kept in excellent condition. GENERAL "Escapada" is a Doug Peterson designed fast 48 ft. sailing yacht built by the famous Baltic Yachts yard in Pietersaari (Finnland). Loa 14,64 (lwl 11,76) x 4,36 x 2,65 m. Headway 23 m. GRP hull, deck and superstructure. Preventive osmoses treatment 2004 : 5 layers epoxy (no osmoses present at that time). Full new teak deck in 2004, non screwed, laid in epoxy, thicker then original still in superb condition. Plexiglass windows new 2011, new hatches 2011.
