Italy of Wine: “Slow Wine” and “I Vini del Piemonte” excellences

Meaning of the partnership between Slow Wine and I Vini del Piemonte
For the first time since its inception, Slow Wine – the Italian wine guide of Slow Food– touches down in Sweden with its Slow Wine World Tour and to take part in a joint event with I Vini del Piemonte that, drawing upon the success enjoyed in recent years with the North European markets, it is now considered a leader in promoting wine producing companies abroad.
Slow Food started out almost thirty years ago in Piedmont. Despite the exponential growth of members worldwide and the huge spread of Carlo Petrini’s ideas, its headquartes remain in Bra, a small Piedmontese town. Its heart still beats in Piedmont and the first events were centred on the wine of this region. So, it was natural for Slow Food to choose the consortium I Vini del Piemonte as a partner, a strong and cohesive group of great wine producing companies, established in 2010 with the aim of enhancing and better communicating varieties and peculiarities of the different wine designations of Piedmont, a world leading region for the quality of its wines.
