The study content is provided by Bristol.gs and the10 day classroom session is organised at the Bartolini Air training centre at Pilska 4, Lodz, Poland. From the start, beginning with the enrollment for the program, we have to follow certain rules set out according to EASA Part FCL. The main rule is that we have to offer a study program that contains at least 650 hours of study time. This is 570 hours of distance learning and 80 hours of classroom lectures as according to EASA Part FCL a minimum of 10% of the study program has to be provided through classroom lectures. After enrollment you will be sent the DVD by Bristol.gs. We will then provide the license key. We do not send any books, you can buy them second hand if you wish. The DVD contains all the necessary content to prepare and pass the EASA ATPL exams. The DVD contains the interactive distance learning program and access to the Bristol.gs question bank. The distance learning program consists of presentations, animations and stage checks for each 6 hour block of studying. Each stage check needs to be passed with 100% before you can continue to the next block of study materials. The Bristol.gs program has been designed in order to meet the 570 hours of distance learning and provides unlimited access so you can keep using it even when you have already passed the exams. The question bank initially is valid for one year only, but can be extended if needed. The minimum time you need for studies on a full time basis ( 8 hours per day, 6 days per week) will be at least 3 months. It is mandatory to be part of the 10 day classroom session in order to fulfill the 650 hour requirement. You can be present at the classroom session while you are still engaged in the self study program. You can decide yourself which classroom session you will be part of, just let us know a few weeks beforehand. Classroom session dates are stated at the end of this page. During the classroom course all subjects will be dealt with in preparation of the EASA theory exams, though students are expected to have sufficient knowledge and be well prepared before participating in the classroom session. At the end of the 10 day classroom session there will be a written inhouse test of 100 questions which has to be passed with at least 75%. The full distance learning program, including the classroom session, has to be finished in a period of 18 months. Once the Bristol.gs distance learning course has been completed, the student has been present at the classroom lecture session, and the inhouse test has been passed, the certificate of completion of the theory course will be issued.

You can do as many exams per day as you want, you are limited though to one attempt per subject. If you fail one subject you need to wait for the next sitting (usually the next month) to resit the exam. You need to pass all exams with at least 75%.
