BASALTBasalt is a fine grained volcanic rock that sometimes displays a columnar structure. It is typically composed largely of plagioclase with pyroxene and olivine. Basalt is a natural stone from mother nature therefore colour variations are normal from batch to batch.

BASALT QUARRIES

Basalt Quarries are generally in two formats. One is columnar shape as show above and second is in boulder shape.

Basalt is generally found in China, Vietnam, and India.

Basalt is often found grey in color, however sertain Basalt such as Mongolian black from Hainan region in China can be much darker.
