    Brake fluid for hydraulic brake and clutch systems with a boilingpoint of at least 270 C and a wet boiling point of at least 180 C.

    Hydraulan 407-1 has been formulated from glycol ethers and theirboratesters. It contains glycols as lubricants, effective corrosioninhibitors and antioxidants.

    Properties

    Hydraulan 407-1 satisfies the following specifications: SAE J 1703,

    SAE J 1704, ISO 4925 Class 4, FMVSS 116, DOT 3 and DOT 4.

    Furthermore Hydraulan 407-1 is approved according to the followingOEM-standards:

    Mercedes Benz DBL 7760.40 Steyr Daimler Puch N 05171 Ford ESD-M6C57-A

    Hydraulan 407-1 has high thermal stability.

    Hydraulan 407-1 features excellent corrosion protection for ferrous and

    nonferrous metals.

    Hydraulan 407-1 causes only slight swelling of natural rubber (NR),styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) and EPDM rubber.

    Handling

    Storage Stability

    The brake fluid is hygroscopic and must therefore be stored in tightlysealed containers. After removal of brake fluid the containers must beclosed immediately.

    Hydraulan 407-1 has a shelf life of at least three years when stored inoriginal closed, airtight containers at temperatures of maximum 40 C.
