Lloyd Charles Bauer, Jr., age 73, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and husband of Peggy Kee Bauer, departed this life Friday afternoon, December 22, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Bauer was born August 30, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Lloyd Charles Bauer, Sr. and Anna Yasein Bauer. He received his education in Pittsburgh and was served his country in the United States Air Force Reserve as a young person. He was a graduate of the Aircraft Mechanic School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Flight School in Pittsburgh. Mr. Bauer was married April 11, 1980 to the former Peggy Kee and was employed as a corporate pilot for North American Rockwell before his retirement. He moved to Fayette County in 1999 and was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Somerville and enjoyed woodworking.

Mr. Bauer is survived by his wife of 37 years, Peggy Kee Bauer of Somerville, Tennessee and two daughters, Kimberly and Tracey.
