The Bridge still holds its quaintness and character from the Coaching Inn it once was in the 17th Century. The Ballroom and Banqueting Hall exudes in grandeur and authority, giving the pride this formidable structure deserves.

Whether you imagine walking down the aisle in a vintage lace gown, the smell of roses and jasmine as you pass them by, expressing your vows to the one you love in the sunset lit garden pavilion, following on to welcoming your guests in the Grand Ballroom surrounded by candle light, sipping fine champagne and eating divine canapés, with a string quartet playing as your presence and beauty wow your on looking guests.

We will assist with all of the defining points of your wedding from the ceremony, choosing the rings, down to the finishing touches of the centre pieces on your tables.

Your dream shouldn’t end there, we are also here to assist with honeymoon arrangements, so when you are sat on board a plane or boat relaxing awaiting to arrive at your desired destination, you can turn to your newlywed partner saying,

When it comes to choosing the food which you would like to provide your guests, it can be very difficult choosing a menu that caters to everybody’s tastes.

Several wedding venues provide packages that give you a small choice which doesn’t always suit you but suits the organisers of the establishment and their chefs, as it is nearly impossible to cook 100 plus meals at the same time. Here at The Bridge we are catering to suit you, we want to be able to offer a variety. From the very quirky menus which will surprise your guests to the safe card of a carvery.

We want the wedding breakfast to suit and compliment the theme of your wedding. This gives you as a married couple a new avenue to wow guests with an added extra touch. From a formal sit down plated meal, to a hog roast in the garden, nothing is impossible to achieve with the team here at The Bridge behind you every step of the way.

Creativity can come so easy when decorating table or the choice of flowers you want, but creativity always seems to get lost when deciding your wedding breakfast menu. Have you ever thought of fish and chips wrapped in a newspaper with the story of yours and your partner’s life?

Whether you want to keep you wedding traditional with a string quartet through the ceremony and a jazz band in the evening to add an extra touch of elegance and class.

We also encourage the more ‘wacky’ and fun ideas, whether it be a cabaret performance, with can-can dancers a live singer and the finishing touches to make it an evening to remember.

Have you though about a magician performing tricks at the table while your guests are seated waiting for their next course or even someone cutting your guests silhouettes as keepsakes from your wedding.
