Award Scheme.

The scheme is open to premises licensed to sell alcohol in Cornwall that are clubs,pubs or bars. ! you re"uire clari!ication you can contact Sarah Nec#e at the addressbelow.

All premises that pass the application and assessment process will remain Best BarNone accredited and will receive a pla"ue in reco$nition at the Cornwall Best BarNone Award Ceremony in %ebruary &'().

Your premises hold current accreditation under the Cornwall Best Bar None schemeand have recently demonstrated that your mana$ement practice meets or e0ceedsthe criteria re"uired to achieve that accreditation.

The abbreviated application is desi$ned to re!lect your achievement in receivin$

accreditation last year. This application will not re"uire you to provide the broadran$e o! evidence that is and will continue to be re"uired by non accreditedpremises. There will be a list o! criteria under each headin$ that will prompt you toconsider your mana$ement practice and re!lect the scorin$ levels 1 e##e)!"l,'e#"%e' o% $o)*#. You should provide evidence o! any updated or new mana$ementpractice that you have introduced and which could attract additional scorin$ mar#sunder the desired or bonus criteria.

Assessors will still visit your premises and will be e0pectin$ to see evidence that, asa minimum, demonstrates that there are procedures and policies in place thatsupport the e##e)!"lcriteria re"uired to achieve accreditation. There is an emphasison evidence durin$ the inspection process and assessors will be 2ud$in$ that it is

su!!icient, valid and reliable a$ainst the criteria. -lease have written policies, ris#assessments, records, lo$s, reports, trainin$ boo#s etc. available !or the assessors.Normally assessors will provide you with at least 3 days prior notice o! a visit to yourpremises.
