Help Families Discover the God of the Universe this Summer at

Galactic Starveyors: Vacation Bible School

Monday-Friday, June 26-30 | 6:30—9:00pm

This summer we will help preschoolers, children, youth, and adults focus their telescopes on the

marvels painted in the sky by the Creator. They will discover the wonder among all wonders:

that the God who created everything, the knowable and unknowable, the visible and invisible,

wants a relationship with them!

We have our telescopes out searching for volunteers to serve in VBS! Will you make “SPACE” for VBS?

We need volunteers in all areas and age groups: teachers for preschool, children, youth and adults. We need support

leaders in all areas: guides, snacks, crafts, greeters, recreation, music, worship rally,

registration and supper.

Wise Up: Preteen Camp 2017 Tuesday, May 30—Friday, June 2

For kids currently in 3rd to 5th grades Cost: $225 per student

(includes all meals, lodging, snacks, activities & t-shirt)

Due to low registrations, the 2017 season of Tball and Baseball has been cancelled.

NOW REGISTERING FOR FLAG FOOTBALL!! Due to numerous requests, we are offering a spring season of flag football in place of baseball. Boys and girls age 4 through the 8th grade may participate. Please register on line by going to www.fbcdouglasvillerec.org.and click on the link. All players must be registered by March 15th. Evaluation Day will be Saturday, March 18th at the church anytime between 9am and noon.

Volunteer Flag Football Coaches. To support flag football, we are also looking for coaches. Training will be provided. Some families will never come to a church but will bring their kids to a game. Why not help coach and share Jesus with them while they are there? Please contact Mark Cagiano if you are interested.

Tumbling Class. Tumbling classes will be offered this year beginning in March. Look for details on the Recreation Website (www.fbcdouglasvillerec.org) and for registration forms in the many take one stands around the church. The number of openings will be limited.

Impact Cheerleading Coaches Needed. We are looking for additional coaches. Experience is not necessary. If anyone is interesting in coaching, please contact Erin Mann in the recreation office. Certification training is provided and will start in mid April.

Children’s New Believer’s Class Sunday, March 5, 2017

9:45am-12:15pm in “The Park” For all children who have made a decision to

follow Christ. One parent is to attend the class with your child. Sign up by emailing
