RUNNER’S CAMP GROUP LEADER TRAININGMay 8th 6:30-8:30pm in the Student Area on the second floor.

UPWARD SPRING FLAG FOOTBALL Flag Football Games are on Saturdays: May 4th, 11th, and 18th. Games are held from 9-1 on the FBC Athletic Field. Get with your coach for your team’s game time. Flag Football Award Night is Monday, May 20th 7-8:30pm in the Worship Center.

WOMEN’S MINISTRYThe women of our church and their guests are invited to attend the Spring Women’s Luncheon, Thursday, May 2nd at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for a delicious lunch, fun and fellowship and a message from God’s Word by Juli Muchnick. Cost is $7 at the door. Please RSVP at www.lifelineforwomen.com.

MEN’S BREAKFAST The Men’s breakfast will resume this month on May 11th at 7:30am at Golden Corral. There will be no breakfast in June due to Runner’s Camp. Meetings will continue as normal in July on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Our next Senior Adults Trip will be touring the Mercedes Benz Stadium on May 14th and eating lunch at The Varsity.

NEW CHURCH DIRECTORYWe have made arrangements with Lifetouch to create a new church directory. The last directory was published in 2012. Family pictures will be taken by appointment in September and October. More information to follow.

Student Camp I July 15th-19th

Register for Student Camp in the Student Cafe. We are going to Ocoee Retreat Center July 15th-19th and the cost is $325 with a $50 deposit due at registration. Sign up now.

2019 Graduate Recognition DinnerGraduation Recognition and Celebration Dinner is May 17th at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Please RSVP with Tanya Kimberly by May 6th. The dinner is for High School graduates, their parents and siblings.

2019 Graduate Commissioning ServiceHigh School Graduate Recognition and Commissioning Service is May 19th in the 10:45 Worship Service. Seats will be reserved for graduates. Graduates should arrive no later than 10:15 and meet in the gym for a picture and to check in. This is not a cap and gown ceremony; however, we would like to recognize all our graduates, so, please email Tanya at tanya.kimberly@fbcdouglasville.org with the following information: full name of graduate, school student graduated from and post-graduation plans.

GO Christian Academy is a ministry of FBC utilizing various top-notch curriculum focusing on language, reading readiness, math, and social skills. GO Christian Academy seeks to provide every child with a child-centered and Bible-based education. In addition to our Preschool-Kindergarten classes, we are excited to announce the addition of a FIRST GRADE and a FULL DAY KINDERGARTEN beginning AUGUST 2019.

Our next Parent/Child Dedication will be Sunday, May 12th during the 10:45 worship service. Our Milestone class for the child dedication will be Sunday morning as well at 9:30am in the Praise In The Park room.

PreTeen CampMay 28th - May 31st

It’s time to register for Preteen camp. This camp is for kids who have completed 3rd-6th grade. The camp is held at Woodland Christian Camp in Temple, GA. The cost is $235.

VBS 2019June 24th - 28th 6:30-9:00pm

Save the date and join us this Summer for Vacation Bible School. Volunteers are needed to lead families to “Zoom in and Focus on Jesus!” The adventure of a lifetime awaits this Summer as we have an up-close and personal encounter with Jesus.
