Programme Entry Requirements:

At least two years' retail management experience or one of the following:

1 A Level pass or local equivalent qualification, including Scottish Highers or Irish Leaving

Certificate.

Edexcel BTEC National Certificate or National Diploma.

NVQ Level 3.

Pass in one 6-unit Vocational Certificate of Education at Advanced Level (AVCE).

Other equivalent qualifications at NQF Level 3.

Relevant professional qualifications.

Management of Retail Centres Steve Priddis Steve is the Principal of PMVE (Global) Ltd, which seeks to assist client's to optimise asset value and enhance investment performance. He has over 23 years of international experience across a wide breadth of cultures.

 Marketing the Shopping Centre Kaye Walker Kaye is a highly skilled Marketing Director with specialist knowledge of the

retail sector and social media. Since joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 2009 as Head of Marketing, Kaye has taken on the responsibility of account management for Aviva, Standard Life, Grosvenor and LIM.

 

 

Creating and Refurbishment of Retail Space

Ian McLelland Ian is the Centre Director at the East Kilbride Shopping Centre, Glasgow. He has 25 years of experience in retail and retail property, having managed two of the largest shopping centres in the UK as well as luxury malls in the Republic of China and Indonesia.

 Valuation of the Retail Asset Mark Loveday Mark is the principal of AMM, which provides independent asset

management services to institutional and property company owners of shopping centres to help them outperform the market as well as transaction services for occupiers.

Jan Wilcox Jan is a Director of Myland Management Ltd, a residential investment and management, property education consultancy. Previously, Jan has worked as a retail asset manager for Hammerson, Merrill Lynch, The Crown Estate and Transport for London.

 Retailing Steven Madeley Steven is the Centre Director at St David's Dewi Sant, one of the UK's top

Shopping Centres with a footfall of over 38million a year. Before joining Land Securities, Steven worked with Boots and is a qualified pharmacist.

 Contract Lease Management Damian Comerford Damian is a chartered valuation surveyor and chartered arbitrator. He is managing

director of his own company, Comerford Real Estate, which provides consultancy advice to corporate companies. He has specialised in the acquisition and disposal of commercial property all over the UK for various clients.

 Project David Hourihan David is the Programme Leader for the BCSC Diploma in Shopping Centre

Management at The College of Estate Management (CEM). He has over 20 years of experience as a property professional specialising in commercial property management and agency (sales, lettings and acquisitions) across both the UK and Ireland.
