The Bowen Boardwalk Trail parking (5 cars) is at the Gothic Window picnic area next to Greenwoods Road as shown in the photo. (41° 55' 40.47” N 72° 60’ 01.0" W ). It is located 0.3 miles west of the Beaver Brook Road junction. Extra parking can be found next to Kings Road or next to the bridge over Beaver Brook. (Greenwoods Road is closed during the snow season) Begin the hike heading east on Greenwoods Road. In 100 yards turn left on the Agnes Bowen Trail marked by a blue blaze with an orange dot (B/O). At 0.2 miles turn right onto Beaver Brook Road and at 0.4 miles turn left on the B/O back into the forest. At 0.6 is the junction with the orange blazed trail to the Boardwalk into Beaver Book Marsh wildlife viewing area. Return to the Agnes Bowen Trail turning southwest. At 0.7 miles you return to Greenwoods Road. Turn right and return on this road back to your car at 1.0 miles.
