module production. With expert precision.Anyone who has been to our solar module production plant in Frankfurt (Oder) in Germany knows why our employees proudly say – "Conergy is a quality champion". Nothing is left to chance. From the selection of electricity-generating solar cells to the final quality testing by our experienced engineers.

Just like in a decathlon, our modules have to pass a number of different tests. Take, for example, the load test: Conergy PowerPlus modules can easily withstand pressures of up to 6,000 Pascal. In layman's terms this means that: twelve fully-grown adults can stand on a module. That is, if they can find enough room! Only then are they allowed to find their place in the sun.

Short process.long-lasting durability.Now the cells are laminated into a durable bond with the glass: two foils made from heat and age-resistant ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) are made crystal-clear through pressure and heat. They then position the cells on the toughened safety glass.

now to the frame installation. In tenths of a millimetre.Frost-resistant aluminium profiles are tailored with the highest precision before they are fully automatically bound to cell-glass laminate. Entirely in keeping with the highest level of stability and a long service life.

Some like it hot. Or frosty? We heat our modules up to +85°C and cool them down to –40°C. This leaves them just as cold as humidity. Because the junction box is as watertight as our climate tests.

Brilliant efficiency. even when there is little light. Whether cloud, mist, shading or angular sunlight, the outstanding low-light performance of Conergy PowerPlus modules – along with the positive power tolerance – ensures an additional yield bonus. This also amounts to an annual average of up to 3 % compared to the forecasts of popular calculation programmes. In other words, cash for the system operator.

Nobody could cope with this? Our high-performance modules do. We fire at them with hailstones measuring 55 mm in diameter at 120 km/h. To be precise, they are chunks of ice larger than a golf ball. We thereby exceed the load of IEC Standard tests by 23-fold.

Snow and wind-proof

We load each square metre of our modules with the weight of a fully-grown camel. But even if no camels find their way onto your roof, Conergy PowerPlus can also withstand massive snow loads, i.e. loads of up to 6,000 Pascal.

Chemical-resistant

Whether it be ammoniacal air from stables or salty sea air on the coast: perfectly sealed and high-quality materials protect the modules against long-term chemical exposure. Certified by DLG and TÜV.

durable solution. In any weather. "Fair-weather modules" are of no use to anyone in our part of the world. That's why Conergy P series solar modules hold their own even in torrential rain and heavy snowfall. One metre of extremely wet old snow, for example, creates a surface pressure of around 500 kg/m². Not a problem for the Conergy P series, that can even handle temperatures from

-40° C up to +85° C. Here the production once again attests to certified Conergy quality according to the international quality standard ISO 9001. Regardless of whether you choose modules with polycrystalline or monocrystalline cells.

And because that isn't enough for us, we now offer a warranty that is second to none. It is exceptionally customer-friendly, easy to understand and offers long-term security. That's why we call it the Conergy PremiumPlus warranty.

The Conergy PremiumPlus warranty is available free of charge for all Conergy PremiumPlus solar modules purchased from 01/02/2012. Regardless of whether they are installed on a private home, a commercial building or on a free-field. The only requirement is, the modules need to be registered. This allows us to react even better, even more quickly should a claim become necessary – with a service that makes its mark.

Customer-friendly cost system

Conergy covers a fixed sum of the costs of the entire case: testing, dismantling, reinstallation, removal and recycling of the solar modules.

Standard in the industry:Most manufacturers only cover the costs for transporting repaired or replaced modules back to the customer. The customer then has to cover the testing, shipping and installation costs himself.

Independent experts

If, for example, an under-performance is established, we decide together with the system operator which independent experts should assess it. We accept all independent experts, e. g. from IECEE certified institutes. Of course, in the case of a acknowledged warranty case, we cover the testing costs.

Standard in the industry:Many manufacturers decide themselves whether they will cover the damages. Independent experts are often not acknowledged.

Swap like for like

During the product warranty period, if the Conergy PowerPlus solar modules display a fault, they are immediately repaired or exchanged for identical Conergy PowerPlus modules of the same performance category. This even applies for optical changes beyond natural ageing.

Standard in the industry:Many manufacturers do not replace solar modules in the case of damage, but instead just reimburse the current value. Others replace the defective solar module with a random new one, which may have a different performance and format.

Planning the optimum module configuration? Our online tool, the Conergizer, now makes it easier than ever. Our planning software automatically suggests suitable module configurations and includes shading simulations and yield forecasts. All according to your project-based specifications. And by the time you've finished your planning, the Conergizer has already put together a parts list of all the components used.

Planning comes to life in 3D: the positioning of solar modules on the roof is shown with millimetre precision. This enables you to plan the configuration down to the very last detail, and check right from the beginning how the system will look later.
