An Interior Designer

-people who dedicate themselves to creating beautiful indoor spaces.

-experts in dealing with colour, texture, shape and size.

-take on both residential and commercial projects.

- choose paint, wallpaper, carpeting and furniture.

-coordinate painters, tillers and movers

Creativity and good taste are VERY important

-requires a lot of scientific and mathematical expertise.

-coordinate general contractors, electricians, plumbers, landscapers and INTERIOR DESIGNERS!

-Work closely with clients, makes sure designs are as close as possible to the clients wishes.

-The first step to becoming a certified designer is to complete an accredited college or university interior design program (either a 2 to 3 year diploma or a 4 year bachelor’s degree).

-approximately 7 years of combined education and work experience is generally needed.The final step to becoming a fully certified interior designer is to write a certification exam.

Most architects complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.Once you have an architecture degree, you have get certified by the province you work in.
