The Telsa RoadsterThe Telsa Roadster

The Telsa Roadster. It is an electric car that looks like a sport scar. It is worth $100,000; and can go up to 125mph. It first was invented in 2003, but it had a few flaws that delayed its selling, until this year when it was finally sold to its first customers. I chose this because I never really knew there were electric cars

The Global Seed Vault

The Global Seed Vault is awesome. It is located on a far northern Norwegian Island called Spitsbergen. It is like its name, a seed vault. Almost every country keeps collections of their native seeds there. Because almost half the seed banks in developing countries are at risk in case of natural disasters. It holds up to 4.5 millions native seed samples, and to keep from rotting or dying they are kept in room temp at around 0 degrees farenhight. And just in case the place looses power the seeds won’t be affected because they are in the middle of the Artic Circle. I chose this because I never knew that there were seed vaults.

Knee DeviceKnee Device

Max Donelan a kinesiologist who works at Fraser University, invented a device that you wear around your knee and as you moves it charges energy. If you put it on both knees and walk, it has enough power to charge ten cell phones. I chose this because I like to save energy

“Green Cement”

Take ordinary cement and combine it with titanium dioxide and you get cement. The titanium dioxide speeds up the natural process of breaking down smog into component parts. I picked this because I like green inventions.

The Time Eater Clock

The time eater clock expresses its time irrevocability. I chose this because it is so simple! It just keeps eating away at every second that passes by, that it can’t be reversed or reset! It just keeps going!

Thin Solar PanelsThin Solar Panels

Thin film solar panels. A lot of people want to go green, but buying solar panels is so expensive. Until now. Some solar panels are now made cheaper and lighter. I like going green.
