The Li(v)fe seminars will show the participants the situations of the needy people in a transparent and fully demonstrated way.
Insights
Putting on bandages, splints, glasses and special shoes which allow the simulation of different symptoms the participants get an experience of the everyday life of handicapped people.
Insights
Everyday life situations are simulated, e.g. go for a walk, make purchases, eat, read and being examined by two very nice, friendly and specialised competent nursing forces.

After the self-awareness the participants reflect their experiences.

Knowledge mediation concerning age-conditioned and illness-conditioned impediments
Discussion about personal impression of the age
Perspective change in the role play „Walking in the shoes of the others“
Reflection of occupational everyday life

Participants make experiences of the sensitivities of older handicapped people:
Role change in everyday situations (during several hours): shopping at the supermarket, use of public means of transportation, situations in nursing homes etc.
Simulated interferences: use of glasses, splints, bandages etc.
Confrontation with well-meant statements or behavior of nurses („I know what is good for you“)
