We offer 3 levels of partnership agreements to suit your needs:
BSO75: we handle the majority of the work to free you up for new business developmentBSO50: an equal partnership for a successful solutionBSO25: we handle pre-defined tasks in an assistance role as needed
With the BSO75 partnership, KAFL is available to do 75% of the steps in the process for you. We can act as an extension of your company, supporting the personal relationships you have with your clients on your behalf. Communication is a key factor in providing the right solution – with the client and the carriers – and having direct access to both leads to a seamless communication loop.
REASONS FOR BSO75:
• You’re an established agency writing other lines of coverage and want to introduce benefits• You’re just starting up and need to focus on growth – not get bogged down by the process • You need to offer benefits as a defensive strategy to keep the competition away• You tried to implement benefits in the past, but it was too daunting or a bad experience

• Available to handle initial fact finding • Market this new service to their clients*
• Assess client needs and options • Forward those interested to our office
• Research and present options • Assist in maintaining the relationship long term
• Handle sales process • Get involved in resolving “escalated” issues
• Handle entire enrollment process
• Assist with the completion of all paperwork
• Work with carrier to handle set up
• Act as first contact for ongoing service issues
• Work on renewals as they come up
• Work directly with client to add / change coverage
• Discuss additional opportunities with client
• Keep partner informed of account status
BSO75
The BSO50 level is a true partnership that relies on both parties being equally involved and responsible for the overall success of the outcome and relationship. Success at this level hinges on a clear understanding of everyone’s roles and expectations and open communication at all times.

BSO50
The BSO25 level is an option for agencies that have a good handle on their offerings, but want assistance to fill some gaps in the products they offer or take on a specific aspect of the process. The partner will take the lead on the majority of the client interactions. A clear understanding and outline of the role KAFL will play at this level is important.
REASONS FOR BSO25:
• You have a large book of medical business and want to use KAFL’s resources to begin to write life, disability and dental with your clients
• You have access to most carriers, but need to use KAFL to handle a carrier or product that is difficult to acquire
• You have a great sales force that is well versed in benefits, but can’t handle the processing of the business or want to free them up from administrative tasks
