It typically takes 20 minutes or less to complete and is completely confidential. The parent survey can be conducted from now until Term 4, Week 2 (Friday, 23 October 2020). The proposal is focused on the goal to enhance learning in the Creative and Practical Arts at Bermagui Public School. The proposal acknowledges the skills and dedication of our teachers and the P&C aims to support our school and teachers to benefit all students. This will support schools to identify their needs and enable us to target areas of improvement through capability building and tailored support. This will also include support in data analysis, evidence informed practices and evaluative thinking. Week 8 Term 3 – 9 September 2020

Tell Them From Me Survey This term, our school will be participating in the Partners in Learning parent survey, another part of the Tell Them From Me suite of surveys (student, teacher and parent surveys) on student engagement. The survey asks parents and carers questions about different factors that are known to impact on student wellbeing and engagement.

Running this survey will help our school understand parents’ and carers’ perspectives on their child’s experience at school. These include: communication between parents/carers and staff, activities and practices at home and parent/carer views on the school's support of learning and behaviour. This valuable feedback will help our school make practical improvements.

The survey is conducted entirely online which is accessible on a variety of devices. It typically takes 20 minutes or less to complete and is completely confidential. The parent survey can be conducted from now until Term 4, Week 2 (Friday, 23 October 2020). We had a great response last year and the information collected was extremely valuable to the school. Although participating in the survey is entirely voluntary, your responses are very much appreciated.

K/1GK GUBIDJA GURGADJ - PIZZA MAKING

PLASTIC LIDS

Many thanks to all those families who contributed

plastic lids for our STEM activities. They are much

appreciated. We now have plenty. Many thanks

also to Central Tilba school who donated a huge

number to our school. Ms Daly

The Kinder / Year 1 class are learning to write informative texts in the form of a procedure. Today they learnt the steps in making their own pizza.

• Step 1 make the pizza base

• Step 2 spread the tomato paste over the base

• Step 3 sprinkle your desired toppings

• Step 4 bake it in the oven

• Step 5 enjoy eating your pizza

On Friday the students will reflect on the cooking session, view the photos and videos of the steps involved and write their own recipe procedure.

P&C NEWS

Last night we held a Zoom meeting which went well. Over the last month we have been discussing and meeting with the school about a P&C Arts proposal and last

night all attending members got to hear some feedback from Brendan and Rebecca. I will write an in-depth review of this next week for all interested parties.

We have been trying to streamline our uniform ordering process and we will be sending every family a note describing our new ordering system. This will be all done

through Tuff As Workwear in the near future but in the meantime please carefully check where the order goes. Please call me if you need ANY HELP!
