Creative judging for the Best Industry Newcomer will be based on the following five criteria, each attracting 20% of the total marks allocated.

1. Core Idea / Concept (20%) 2. Target Market Appeal (20%) 3. Creative Originality (20%) 4. Clear Visuals / No Clutter (20%) 5. Clear branding (20%)

Creative Entry

There will be two prizes in this Category to reflect the importance of Creativity and Media Planning in encouraging new entrants to the Outdoor sector. The entry can be from either the Media or Creative Agency or as a combined approach.

Planning Entry

The Planning award will be based on the following criteria and should include creative work as we’d like to see what the work to support the planning strategy.

1. Strategic planning (25%) Maximum 500 words Outline market background, campaign goals, target market, plan, why Outdoor etc.

2. Tactical Planning (25%) Maximum 500 words Understanding of key variables in Outdoor planning process – timing/use of formats/regionality/weights/innovative planning and demonstrable cost efficiencies via CPTs etc. Non-JNOR formats will be allowed for.

3. Poster Design (25%) Maximum 200 words Understanding of how the poster creative needs to work in synergy with the medium to achieve communications objectives.

4. Results (25%) Maximum 200 words The client / agency to outline how the campaign was a success via corroborating sales / research results etc.
