1st Key Club Olympics hosted by Beyer Key Club

By: Jason Leung First off, I would like to thank everyone for helping to make this event

successful! During the event we had 21 members and 4 guests from Beyer attend

with a total of 136 hours. We had 46 people from the Division attend (including

advisors) and we raised a total of $309.00 ($77.00 went to Camp Taylor, which got

the most votes). Was this event perfect? No. It wasn’t. But now that we have done it

once, we all know what to change (or what was good) for next time, and though

we didn’t make any money, I feel that we as a club accomplished no easy task! This

was an extremely complicated event that required A LOT of planning and

preparation in a short amount of time (around 2 months). Overall what I’ve heard

from attendees was that they thought that it was “a great social event.” In the end,

our club put in a total of 275 hours for this event! THAT IS AMAZING!

Now, I have many specific people I need to thank:

Logan Albiani:

- Thank you for bringing canopies and also helping out a lot with

announcing things at the event!

Kyle Amaral:

- Thank you for taking great minutes during the planning meetings and all of

your hard work in planning this!

Danielle Babaoshana:

Brenda Cestona:

- You are always willing to help and do whatever with a great attitude!

Thanks also for helping at the concessions booth and for attending the

planning meetings!

Vaneet Chand:

- Thank you for being Vaneet. I’m sure we can all agree that without your

“happy-go-lucky” attitude at life, this event would not have been any fun!
