As this calendar spectacularly illustrates, creating art is a way of life at Brooklyn Friends School. The selections of student art herein represent works from preschool through 12th grade. They were created using a wide array of media and techniques: painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, photography, mixed media, woodworking, mosaics, sculpture, ceramics, and many forms of three-dimensional art. The School is grateful to the students who shared their art in this calendar and to the Visual Arts Department and teachers who joyfully inspire our community to bring color, shape, texture, stories and delight into our school every day.
