Chewbacca Paper Bag Puppet // Marioneta de bolsa de papel de Chewbacca

If you have glue, scissors and a black marker on hand begin by flipping your paper bag upside down and cutting 4-5 half inch strips from what will be the bottom on your puppet. Take these strips and cut them to fit the width of your paper bag. After you’ve finished cutting your strips make slits on them but make sure you don’t cut through the entire strip. Making these slits will give you a fur like texture! Save one strip that will later be used to make Chewbacca’s belt. Once you have made all of your paper fur, glue down these strips one by one on your puppet. Take the extra strip and with your black marker to draw in squares. Make sure to fill in every other square until they are completely black. Glue Chewbacca’s belt diagonally on his body. Using your black marker finish your puppet by drawing in eyes, a nose and teeth. Using your hand, take your Chewbacca out for an adventure in the galaxy!

If you only have a black marker available, begin by drawing quick short lines all over your paper bag. Make sure they go every direction to look like Chewbacca’s fur. After you’ve drawn on your fur make two diagonal lines across his body to form his belt. Connect your two diagonal lines and create squares across the belt. Fill every other one black and finish off by drawing in eyes, a nose and teeth.
