cultural heritage Institute Bistra hiša – Smart house is set up to carry out development, research, educational, promotional and advisory activities in the field of economic and spiritual development of people and the strengthening of their prosperity, sustainable use of disposable resources, integration and networking of experts and institutions from different developmental, scientific and educational fields and the development and support of research work, new technologies and procedures, development and sustainability of human, natural, energy, information, cultural and other resources in the area Pomurje region, as well as the wider area of the whole Republic of Slovenia and the border areas of neighboring countries.

THE PROJECT REFERENCES:

1. IMPACT! IMPproving health and social institutions by ACtivating available Technologies, OP SI-AT

programme 2007-2014, the project partner: project aims at improving the situation within the health and social care system by utilising already available technologies like e.g. AAL Ambient Assisted Living, eco technologies and by developing new requested services in order to reduce and save costs as well as to increase the quality for the people involved.

2. BioFuture, OP SI-HU programme 2007-2013, lead partner: project is implemented in the context of Cross-border programme Slovenia Hungary 2007 - 2013. The aim of the project "Cross-border demonstration and learning center bioconstruction and bioliving - BioFuture" is to show the benefits of using renewable energy sources and natural cycles of substances in the environment for building and living area. On this basis, experts will be trained in certain institutions and organizations in the field of renewable energy and bio-engineering.

3. NIMSEC, IEE programme, the project partner: In January 2008 has also implemented a project NIMSEC (Novel and Integrated Model for Sustainable Energy Communities) which was aimed at bridging the gap between policy documents and implementation of concrete projects in the field of efficiency and renewable energy at local level. 5. EKOPLAN, INTERREG IIIA 2000-2006, the project partner: The establishment of the cross-border cooperation in environmental technology and waste management in particular.

6. Installation or upgrade of public e-points with wireless access, national program, the

applicant: Installation of public e-points with wireless access in rural areas. THE OTHER REFERENCES:

- RESINBUIL, IEE programme, subcontractor: The Institute Bistra hiša Martjanci - Smart

House Martjanci has also participated in various European projects. One of them is a project RESINBUIL (Introduction of Renewable Energies Sources and Building Sector), whose main goal is to promote the use of solar energy and biomass to the installation of modern renewable energy systems in buildings. One of the most visible results of this project is also a free permanent exhibition on renewable energy systems flowchart of their operation, which was set up by Synergy Development Agency in cooperation with Technology clusters - clusters of installers and energy providers. project has encouraged local people to become models for their citizens and key local actors in the field of energy efficiency. The renovated building named Bistra hiša - Smart House Martjanci has been in this project presented as an example of good practice in the Municipality Moravske Toplice.
