WHO ARE WE?

The Ai Foundation consists of the active volunteers who are promoting Japanese, Chinese and Korean languages

courses for children and teenagers from the region of Łódź, who are interested in the Far Asia culture.

B. J. Language Centre is a school created in 2008. It specifies in

professional teaching of the Oriental languages based on hiring specialists and most importantly native speakers

of Japan, China and Korea.

The classes take place on all levels of knowledge and divided into age

groups.

WE DEEPEN THE KNOWLEDGE OF JAPAN

THE KNOWLEDGE CONTESTWe care about the level of knowledge of our students. We are giving them possibilities to verify it in contests – internal and those organised by the Japanese Ambassy in Poland. The biggest achievements of our students are: - annual International certificate exams, - one of our students is one of the top five students for 100 of different Polish universities (e.g. Jagielloński and Warszawski),- 6 moths methodology course(September 2015 – March 2016)

for world’s Japanese language teachers for one our teachers in Japan, who represents Poland and is at the proficiency level group.

EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO JAPAN (JULY 2015)We cooperate with 3 language schools in Japan and 1 university in China. We

organised a trip for our students.

We aim to create a place in Łódź, in which, everyone interested in the Far East Asia countries finds an offer for himself.

Our mission is to support intelectual, emotional and social development of children and teenagers as well as adults who are interested in language and

culture of the Far East as well as to stimulate their creative attitudes and motivate them to self-reliance and self-improvement.

FACULTIES OF NATIONAL JAPANESE DANCE (NIHON BUYO) WITH DICTION CLASSES.

TEENAGE ACTIVITIES

We organize regular faculties for teenagers willing to participate in Japanese spectacles or performances. The classes are helping to purchase the knowledge of difficult Japanese dance moves and classic poses of the Nihon buyo dance.

ARTISTIC EDUCATION

We created a possibility, for the students of Japanese language in the B.J. Language Centre, to take part in a theatre peformance. Our two performed so far stage shows stylized in Japanese, have been prepared fully by the volunteers and befriended artists. The poster promoting the stage show as well as the items used in the performance have been manually prepared by the students.

WE PROMOTE ASIAN CULTURE AMONGTHE CLIENTS OF HIPERMARKETS IN ŁÓDŹ

Every year the students of our school are able to take part in Christmas – New Years contests by manually preparing cards inspirated by Japan, singing Japanese traditional carols and winter songs in Japanese.The additional attraction of these meetings are shows presented by our teachers and instructors as well as meals prepared by our befriended Japanse cook.

CALLIGRAPHY FACULTIES IN MANY FORMS

The Japanese calligraphy is an integral part of Japanese language learning. Writing might be practiced with the ink on paper. Burnt in the high temperature patterns are placed on cups to drink

beverages.
