Welcome to the first issue of BLAZE
Magazine. In this issue we are showcasing
some great photographers such as, Amelia
Rabin, Phil Gladwin and Deryck Banks. We
also have some great models like Chand
Smith and Donna Boorman.
BLAZE Magazine is not a 'typical' magazine. Our
goal is to showcase models, photographers and
make-up artists with a view to promote talent
and provide helpful advice and insights into the
industry. It is still early days for the
magazine, but we hope that you will continue to
support us and help us to keep growing and
bringing you more and more high quality
professionals in the years ahead. If you love
the magazine as much as we do, please spread
the word and share with others!

BLAZE MAGAZINE
" I qualified as a hair stylist in 2009, but never fancied working in a salon. I am huge film fan, and have always wanted to work in film in one capacity or another.
My eyes were opened to the possibilities of hair and make-up in film back in 2001, with the release of 'The Fellowship of the Ring' and the astounding work of WETA
in New Zealand. Years later, when I began to feel as if the pursuit of the film career was no more than a failing dream, my local college started a course in special FX make-up.
Since I began my course, I have worked at London Fashion week, where I was head of hair department. I have also worked on a promo for an upcoming TV series and I am
currently working on a feature film in Ramsgate, UK. The goal is to keep working in film and TV and on the occasional photoshoots where possible" - Sammy Jo
